The setting was so peaceful and rural, and the place felt like a hidden gem. We were made very welcome and would definitely come back. Just wish we'd stayed more than one night!

The rooms and house were cozy and comfortable, in a really beautiful spot with plenty to see and discover nearby. We had a wonderful three days at Quinta da Janeca. João was a great host, always looking after guests and ready for a chat or to share one of his many good stories. We'll be back. Thanks, João, Márcia and Magda.

We also got to meet senhor João and had some really lovely conversations with him. The house has been renovated with great care and taste, and the view is stunning. Everything was spotless, and breakfast was generous and delicious.

The views are stunning, and the accommodation is really good quality. Sr. João was lovely company, waiting for us each morning at breakfast and sharing great suggestions for places to visit nearby. We loved our time at Quinta da Janeca, such a good place to unwind. We'd certainly return, it's ideal for a memorable family holiday.

A magical little place that really captures a village holiday. You're surrounded by nature, and everything feels cared for, right down to the details. The welcome was five-star, typically transmontano.
