My room had an absolutely perfect view of the castle, and I even woke up to a rainbow. The place was clean, friendly, and family-run. The room itself was fine, but with rain outside there wasn't really anywhere else to sit comfortably and wait out the day. No lobby area or other common space, so you could feel stuck in your room.

The location is fantastic, and the staff are super lovely. It's an old hotel, but has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was simple yet really tasty.

We'd stay here again. Room 206 had an excellent view of the castle/convent, plus a clean bathroom and a comfortable bed. Our room was small but adequate, with good air conditioning. The breakfast buffet offered lots of choices and tasted good, though the 'orange' was squash rather than juice.

From the third floor, there's a great view across the old town and castle. Rooms are basic, but very good value and close to the centre of Tomar. Staff have limited English, though they could assist us. Breakfast was fine, with good coffee and fruit.

The view over town and the convent was spectacular, day and night. I booked a single room and expected a small room at the back, but mine had plenty of space and a bed big enough for two. It had hot water with good pressure, excellent wifi, and a delicious breakfast. The staff at Hotel Kamanga were kind and hospitable, and explained a lot about Tomar and what I could do while there. It's near the old town with bars and restaurants around, and there's a mini preço around the corner for snacks. I had a wonderful stay and can't wait to return. Highly recommend it!
