The shared areas seemed great for families, and staff clearly looked after them. At breakfast they brought families special dishes, while we were offered only eggs. We also heard there was a fridge guests could use in the dining room, but nobody told us about it. Our room was cramped, with nowhere to open a bag, so we had to put ours in the closet. The bedside tables were wobbly wine crates with wide gaps, and we didn’t feel safe putting anything on them. The sink gave barely a trickle of hot water, and the shower head had no working holder, so I had to hold it myself. Street facing windows brought car noise, along with frequent church bells. We picked this place for a night between the river beaches and Tomar after reading positive reviews. At checkout, we mentioned the sink. The woman wrote it down, then asked about the rest only after we paid. We told her about the shower too, but she showed little interest in fixing things or offering anything after such a bad stay. Service and rooms need work. Next time we’ll choose a proper hotel in Tomar.

A relaxed, quiet place with a friendly feel and welcoming staff. It’s in the middle of a village, about 15 minutes from Tomar by bicycle.

The breakfast is excellent, made with natural, high quality products. We’ve known this place since it first opened, and over the years it has continued to meet our expectations, if not exceed them, with its warm welcome, peaceful atmosphere, and comfortable rooms. It’s a lovely spot to feel at ease and in tune with nature, and a great base for visiting Tomar, the Castelo de Bode dam, and the Zêzere River. I recommend it warmly.

The outdoor spaces were really pleasant, and the accommodation was peaceful, a nice place to rest. The staff were impeccable, and breakfast was excellent. The mattress laid across two single beds to make a double was much too soft and didn’t help in the heat. There’s a church across the road from the rooms. The bell bothered us on the first day, but once we got used to it, we barely noticed it.

The staff were incredibly generous and always ready to help. I attended a wedding there and loved how beautifully it was decorated, everything felt in harmony. Quinta de São Pedro de Tomar is a memorable place to unwind, with a magnificent pool and a stunning sunset view. I’d warmly recommend it for a family holiday. ✌️😁
