Residencia Santa Marta

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The internet was awful, and the walls were so thin I could hear everything the neighbors did. They complained about everything, too. The owner was rarely around, so when an issue came up I sometimes had to wait for him. I found ants in my room one day and had to throw away my food. I was charged more than the room was worth. If you can, find somewhere else, even if it costs a little more.

I used to live at the residence. It’s roomy, clean and safe, and works really well for one or two people.

I stayed here for a few months and found it suited me well for work nearby. It’s a quiet spot with parking, and I had no serious problems. Whenever I needed to speak with the manager, he was available and willing to help. A good option if you need somewhere in Tomar for a few months.

I can’t recommend this residence. On my first call, sr. Faustino, who seemed to be the owner, came across as arrogant. I asked whether the kitchens in the units were properly equipped, but he said he only gave information to interested people, then hung up on me. That felt disrespectful and showed no consideration for a potential customer. It makes me wonder what the actual service is like.
