We felt lucky to find this place just beyond the city, with lovely views and roomy, pleasant rooms. The staff were warm and welcoming, and you can see how much care goes into their family business. Breakfast by the fire in the cozy dining room was a treat. Thanks for the hospitality and travel tips. We'd happily come back.

The surroundings are lovely, the staff helpful and friendly, and the pool was quite suitable even for little kids. Our room, though, felt too small for two parents and our 9-year-old. There was just one power socket in the room and another in the bathroom. The beds creaked, and we could hear the neighbors. It worked fine for one night, but I'm not sure I'd choose it for a longer, restful stay.

Breakfast was very nice, with eggs, meats, good bread, juice, coffee and fresh fruit. The staff were friendly, and our room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. We stayed for the weekend.

The people were great and the service was good. You'll need a car, though, since there aren't restaurants nearby. Walking to one takes at least 20 minutes.
