Moinho do Avô

Staff were great, and the location is great too!

The house itself is great and well located. We didn't like the mattresses, but everything else was good. We booked nine nights, arriving on 05/04 and leaving on 14/04. It's now 24/05, and I'm still trying to get an invoice from the owner. She keeps telling me her accountant is an older lady who works the old-fashioned way and sends invoices by CTT. I accepted that, and was told it was sent on 02/05, but it still hasn't arrived. I live in Lisbon, just 28 min by car from the accommodation. I keep wondering, if I lived in another country, would they still send it by CTT, or could they email it as I've asked so many times?

The surroundings were incredibly beautiful, and the house was comfortable and really interesting. We were excited about New Year and decided to extend our stay by another day. It was a little cold inside, but there was a fireplace, and it saved the situation. It took a long time to get it going, though))

I spent ages looking around the mill, but never found Avô. Would it really have cost so much to have an elderly person there on a freelance contract?
