I felt secure staying here on my own, and the room was safe too. I was confident the hosts would deal with any concerns or incidents. The villa is tucked away from town, so it stays quiet and private, but it's still easy to get around. I walked to Santa Cruz in about 35-40 minutes. The route is flat and fairly easy if you're able-bodied, and the host offered bikes as another way to explore. Everything was clean and looked after, which is easy to take for granted. I'd recommend it as a calm place to stay or as a base for a trip.

Felipe made us feel right at home, and we couldn't have asked for a better stay at Vila Louro. The property is gorgeous and clearly well cared for, with spotless rooms, common areas, and pool. It's also just a short drive from the beach. We loved every minute and would absolutely recommend it.

The place is quiet, clean, and superb, with the coast probably only about 8 minutes away. Felipe personally reconfirmed our stay and welcomed us at check-in like a friend. Highly recommended.

The outdoor space and pool were a real hit with the kids, and there was lots for them to explore. The adults could relax too, since the property felt safe and was well equipped. Filipe was very accommodating and shared useful ideas for things to do nearby. We spent a week exclusively at Vila Louro in fall 2024 as a group of 22, including 12 children from 3 months to 12 years old. There was room for everyone, and the setup worked really well for our needs. The grounds were beautifully kept, the rooms clean and nicely furnished, and the shared areas had space both to gather and unwind. We were all delighted and would book again anytime. Absolutely recommend it for families and larger groups.

The setting is very green and peaceful, while still being close to the lovely beaches. We stayed as a family and definitely plan to return. The rooms were wonderful, and breakfast was fantastic in a dining room that felt like sitting in a garden. The pool is lovely and really big. The family who runs the place are kind and helpful with anything you might need.
