Well Hotel & Spa

The hot water pool and spa area were amazing for both adults and kids. Bedrooms were in very good condition and cleaned daily, and breakfast was tasty with plenty of variety.

A great choice for a family holiday, about an hour's drive from Lisbon. Our room was gorgeous, spacious, clean, and really beautiful. The SPA has a great sauna too. We'll definitely come back.

After a long walk along the river, we stopped at Well early in the morning for coffee. They seated us quickly and without any fuss, even though we were only there for coffee. The coffee was delicious, and the peanut butter pancakes we ordered were delightful. Then they suggested we take a look at the pool on the top floor, a nice surprise. The service was friendly and always came with a smile. Great location, plenty of parking, and a beach nearby. You can also rent small pedal boats to go up the river. Thumbs up!

The rooms are nice, but the location isn't that good and the building has ugly rust all over it. Service was poor. Our AC unit wasn't working and the safe was locked. The receptionists tried unsuccessfully to open it, said the problems would be fixed as soon as possible, then disappeared. The SPA isn't really a SPA, just a small swimming pool, two jacuzzis with no bubbles, and a sauna. There's also the most ridiculous hotel rule I've come across: you have to wear a swimming cap even to use the jacuzzi.
