We had a horrible experience here. I was told the hotel changed its name because of a bad reputation. I wouldn’t consider staying, even for one night. Go to Comporta instead.

The AC filters in the rooms weren’t being cleaned. I watched a maintenance worker take one out, and we insisted on a room change. I also felt the property relied on interns, including young people, to keep wages low, and I didn’t see any senior staff. Nobody seemed accountable for anything. The pool bar was a joke, even serving bread bought at a supermarket. There was no quality in what they did. Stay away if you can.

The shared bathrooms in the lobby were filthy and old. The hand soap dispenser had mold, and there was no soap, which is a health concern in a family hotel with so many children needing to wash their hands. Our apartment also had a leak from the day we arrived. I reported it to the manager, but nobody fixed it or offered a solution. The place is poorly maintained, and management doesn’t seem to care.

I had to move rooms because of some random noise at night, and the mattress urgently needs replacing. The room internet didn’t work, the gym was out of order, and the pool needs maintenance. Housekeeping left the room dirty. It felt like the hotel needed urgent repairs.
