A lovely spot with a view, though it still doesn’t compare with Greece.

Our stay at casa Paço de Mato was such a lovely experience. The house is beautiful, warm and welcoming, and fully equipped with everything. We loved the decor and the space, and the place itself feels magical. The children loved it too. It was a unique experience, and we’ll definitely come back. I’m also grateful to D. Isabel and D. Ana for their kindness and all the attention they gave me. I’ll always be thankful.

The renovation was done with great taste, and the house has everything needed for a few days of complete rest. It’s a welcoming place where you can enjoy a wonderful view over the Serra da Freita. I recommend it especially for large families or a few relaxing days with friends.

The village is peaceful and pleasant, but the roads leading there are badly worn and very narrow. At the property, some bathroom fixtures were damaged, and we had flooding on the upper floor that needs immediate maintenance.
