The owner was approachable, but the conditions are misleading compared with the photos. The place is old, dirty, and has a strong musty smell. Everyone shares one bathroom, and it was very unhygienic. The bathroom mat was black when it should have been white. No words... WHAT A DISGRACE!!! I only gave a star because it was required, otherwise I wouldn't have given even that. I absolutely do not recommend it.

The photos online are really misleading, nothing like the place in reality. The room was dirty and the bathrooms were disgusting. I've paid the same per night at other hotels and never encountered conditions like these. I won't ever go back. It was a complete misrepresentation.

Friendly owners and a charming guesthouse, with a cozy bar right next door. The rooms have the essential comforts, though don't expect five-star luxury. It's a good base for trips to various sights. The owner also has delicious port that's many years old, and there's a very good restaurant about 100 meters away.

The staff were pleasant, but the rooms were a disaster. In the shared showers we found used sanitary napkins, and there was a musty smell. A water leak had left the ceiling covered in damp. Pallets were being used as brine tanks, there were insects in the rooms, and the parquet floor was coming loose. We left very disappointed.

The bathroom was filthy, the rooms were extremely hot, and there were mosquitoes. I won't come back.
