Luis and Christine made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until we left. As we entered the grand main room, they greeted us with, “Welcome to Paradise.” This impressive house in Portugal gave us a taste of what heaven might be like, though heaven is the true paradise. Everything was beautifully designed and kept in great condition. Our bedroom was spotless, and the attentive house maid kept it just as immaculate from day one through day five. Breakfast came with mountain views and a mix of sweet pastries and a little savory food, enough to set us up for the morning and afternoon. My wife and I were sorry to leave this wonderful place. We also enjoyed visiting Portugal, with its character and history. People were welcoming, and we noticed the country's strong Christian roots in the many Christian references and in people's generosity. Footnote: When Jesus was dying on the cross, one of the thieves being crucified with Him asked for mercy. Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43). God Bless,
Laura B.

The hosts were kind and helpful, the mountain views are beautiful, and breakfast is delicious. It really is a superb venue, a mini-palace, and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful place, and that sunset was a 10 out of 10! We stayed at the end of May 2017. The weather wasn't at its best, but the location and room were lovely, and the people were very friendly.

We were welcomed so warmly. The room is a dream, and the hotel's decor is fabulous. The pool is small, but with so few rooms and such a fabulous view, it works perfectly.
