NAU Salema Beach Village

Our group of six stayed in a three-bedroom suite. The off-season price was excellent value, though I can’t speak to high-season rates. It had a spacious kitchen and a roomy common area upstairs, and the suite was clean, pleasant, and equipped with the essentials. Staff were friendly and helpful. There are nice swimming pools, and the on-demand shuttle can pick guests up or drop them off at different places around town, which was a really handy feature.

The views from the four terraces were amazing, and the L'Occitane soap and shampoo were a lovely touch. We stayed for two nights and loved it. Everything was very clean and spacious, and having two bathrooms and three toilets made things so convenient. Simply wonderful.

A shuttle makes it easy to get to town or the beach and back. We were a couple and had much more space than we needed in the townhouse, which was spacious but spartan. It was nice having our own bathrooms, and the bathroom tiles were clean and very pretty.

We had a group of 14 split between four types of villas, with two or three bedrooms and views of the pool, sea, or gardens. Every villa was spotless, well kept, and supplied with essential pots, pans, and utensils. Our three-bedroom place had three furnished balconies with tables, chairs, and loungers, plus a roof terrace with beautiful views. The grounds were also beautifully maintained. The villas came with toilet tissue and L’Occitane shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand wash. The kitchen had a little dishwashing liquid and some pods, and there was a washing machine. Bedding was changed every three days, while rooms were tidied and beds made daily. The village sits on a hill overlooking the sea. It’s quite steep, so it’s good if you enjoy a workout. Walking down is easy, but heading back up feels like a gym session. We did it once. Reception offers free rides up and down, and we rarely waited more than a few minutes. For trips farther afield, the hotel offers transport to Lagos, which cost €35 in September 2025. If no vehicle is available, they’ll arrange a local taxi. The reception team greeted us with warm smiles and a genuine welcome. Even with a large group spread across the villas, they made each of us feel special. The drivers were excellent and always asked how our day had gone. One minivan driver whose name we didn’t catch was outstanding on the few trips he took us into Lagos. There’s a small café by the pool. I didn’t try it myself, but members of our group enjoyed the burgers, chips, and sandwiches and said they were tasty. The fresh orange juice was a hit too. The village has several restaurants, and we ate at My Sushi and Aqua Na Bocca. The staff at My Sushi were very welcoming. There are also two grocery stores for essentials. The beach is gorgeous, with soft sand and lovely scenery. Nau Salema Village is a fantastic choice for a relaxing holiday or break. The hospitality, well-kept villas, useful services, and beautiful surroundings made it a lovely place to unwind.
