The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and tidy, and the hotel was exceptional value. It’s a three-star place in the old part of town, in a modern building with parking out front. Breakfast was good, and the bar and lounge were comfortable. Every staff member I met was friendly and helpful.

The hotel’s right in the city center, close to everything, with parking on site, which was a real plus. The main beach and fort are about a 10-minute walk away. My room wasn’t large, but it was more than fine for an overnight stay, with a comfortable bed, AC, and good cleanliness. Service was perfect, and the price for what you get was excellent.

After my first 23 km day on the Camino, this was a welcome place to stop. I had a delicious sparkling white in the lobby right away to soothe my sore feet, and the front desk staff were nice.

The breakfast buffet was seriously lacking, though I suppose that’s what I should expect for 65 euros. The hotel itself is old and needs all sorts of repairs. The beds were small and worn, and my mattress was lumpy. The carpet was stained, and the room smelled bad. Carpets in hotel rooms seem wrong for health reasons anyway. All in all, a very unpleasant stay.

The check-in took a very long time, but the location in the old town was great and the breakfast buffet was really good. The room was clean, the shower was good, and I felt very safe. There’s also a pleasant place to relax with a pool table.
