The pool area felt like paradise, and the location worked really well, close to the airport with easy access to the city centre. The rooms were spacious and cozy, and the staff were welcoming and attentive, clearly keen to make the stay a good one. Great value for the price. We had a delightful stay and would highly recommend it.

The Metro stop at Vilar Pinheiro is nearby and takes you straight into Porto. We enjoyed our week here: the rooms were clean, the staff very friendly, and breakfast was a simple continental one.

Villa Metro Suites is in lovely surroundings, a little off the beaten track. The rooms were clean and breakfast was okay, but the staff weren't very welcoming and the beds were uncomfortable. The pool was a bonus, though it was odd that you couldn't take a beer or even a towel from your room there.
