We had a great stay, and I’d happily recommend it. This was our first time staying at a Quinta outside Porto on the Camino. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, putting in a lot of effort to make sure guests had what they needed and offering advice whenever we needed it. Thank you!!

The bath was a real bonus for us as pilgrims on the Camino. The accommodation was superb, and dinner in the hotel dining room was lovely, with good food and a delightful atmosphere.

We especially enjoyed the outdoor pool and the very comfortable room. The spot itself is beautiful, and a really complete breakfast the next morning made the stay.

After getting soaked on the Camino, this was such a good place to dry out. Laundry cost 5 pounds, and they also suggested putting our boots, shoes, coats, and bags in the drying room. Dinner by the roaring fire felt so cosy. The service was amazing, the rooms gorgeous, and the grounds quaint. I’d definitely try to stay here again.

The set dinner was excellent value at €17pp for three courses and coffee, and there was a good choice of wines. We loved our overnight stop on the El Camino trail. Our room in the old stone building was perfect, with a lovely romantic country feel, and the simple breakfast and friendly staff rounded things off nicely. It’s a beautiful hotel in a tiny village, and there’s a pool if you fancy a swim.
