Housekeeping did a really good job every day, and the rooms were very clean. The staff were friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was good too. The only downside was that the WiFi didn’t really work. Nice hotel, definitely recommend.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the employees were friendly. I’m not sure the breakfast coffee had any caffeine in it, I felt nothing even after six shots of espresso. The WiFi worked by the door, but not once I stepped farther into my room.

Praia De Lobos was a good base for our time on the island. We came for the beaches and just needed a cool room with AC at night. The best thing about the place is its location in the heart of Villa do Porto, within walking distance of shops, cafes, and restaurants. The rooms were very clean, thanks to Paula, who works nonstop and always has a smile. It’s bare bones: not much for breakfast, no fridge in the room, and no WiFi. That was okay, and it made it easier to get our teenage kids up and out to see the island. There’s a great little cafe right next door with WiFi, so we started the day outside on its patio with coffee and sunshine. We’d definitely stay again.

The worst hotel stay I’ve ever had in 57 years of traveling. Those three nights were hellish. I’ve slept better on airport floors.

Really good, with amazing linen and beds. The only issue is there’s just one power outlet, which definitely isn’t enough for two people.
