Hotel Rural Villa Julia

The rooms were good and everything was very clean. The people were nice, and it was really quiet.

Mr. Fernando was a five-star person, and the place felt very welcoming, but it needs some quick improvements. In our room, the toilet seat was broken down the middle, and I hurt myself. The other room had a broken seat too, and paint was peeling all over the walls. We booked because reservation sites listed air conditioning, which mattered to us given the high temperatures and fires in the area. When we arrived, there wasn’t any. Mr. Fernando said the listing advertised climate control, which I would understand to mean the same thing. We barely slept that night. It has the potential to be a brilliant place to stay, but they urgently need to fix the rooms and update the booking sites to show that air conditioning isn’t available.

The host, Mr. Fernando, was genuinely kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Thanks for the hospitality. With its simple comforts and peaceful atmosphere, this is an ideal place to stay overnight and unwind. I’d definitely like to visit again.

The pool was what caught my eye in the photos, and I went there hoping to use it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t fit for swimming, which was frustrating. The service was impeccable, though. The gentleman offered right away to clean the pool, but there wasn’t enough time for me to use it.
