The accommodation is decent, but that’s about all I’d count on. They say they’re “dog friendly,” though it felt like dogs were only tolerated if they stayed still. You also can’t count on being able to eat or drink by the pool. The staff seemed more keen to give us a hard time than to be friendly or professional, and there was little empathy. The location wasn’t great for wine tasting either. Expect long drives to and from the quintas.

It was easy to find, and the place is beautiful and peaceful. I’d visit again.

This was my second visit, and it won’t be my last. The place is quiet and calm, and the staff are friendly.

There’s plenty of space for children to hang out and play, and a large parking area. In summer, the lovely porch looks out over the vineyard, and the pool is a welcome way to cool off in the Transmontano heat. The price is good for what you get. Inside, the kitchen is huge, as are the dining and living rooms. The bedrooms are spacious and all have air conditioning. Heating is good too, with a fireplace. The house is very good, and the service was professional and friendly.
