We visited in early October without a car, and several other guests were doing the same. Ubers into town were easy to get, usually with around 5-6 nearby, though there may be fewer in high season. We tipped our first driver in cash, and after that he tended to collect us quickly. For arrival and departure, we booked a transfer through Algarserra. The hotel also has a beach shuttle, something I hadn’t seen mentioned in many reviews. The beach is about a 10-minute drive or a 40-minute walk. They’ll take you there and pick you up when you’re ready, provide tickets for the small boat from Fábrica to the beach, and arrange sunbeds if needed. As of 2025, it cost €15 return per room plus €2 per person for the boat. Staff suggested local restaurants and helped us book, which was necessary even in early October. O Tonel and Ti Maria were both excellent and worth a visit. O Tonel takes reservations via WhatsApp. One night we went into town without a booking and ended up with pizza, which was good, just not our first choice. We also ate at the hotel twice during our five-night stay. The food and wine were good. The set menu was around €60 each, with wine about €20 a bottle. Four courses are more than I need since I don’t eat much, but I’d still recommend dinner there. It was fun being surprised. Our stay was lovely and relaxing, with a beautiful setting and great service. The room was well appointed, with a very comfortable bed, nice bedding, and a lovely bathroom. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout. We had an excellent stay, and next time we might consider upgrading to the Warehouse or the Cabin, which looked worth it.

We got to know Marcia, Ana, Rodrigo, and some of the other staff, and their warmth made us feel like family. That hospitality is what made the stay unforgettable. The hotel has lots of hidden charm and character, and the kitchen team served 10/10 meals throughout. We also enjoyed the yoga and Palettes on the lawn in front of the hotel. A wonderful visit from start to finish. We’ll certainly be back!

My brother and I came for a three-day golf break, and the staff made the trip a wonderful experience. They were friendly, professional, and very focused on making our stay as pleasant as possible. The girls also helped accommodate our room request. We couldn’t have picked a better place.

We stayed in The Cabin. Just wow. This was exactly the peaceful break we needed, with a real sense of quiet and rest. The staff were fantastic, friendly, and cheerful. We also enjoyed the wine tasting and the incredible breakfast. A must if you’re visiting the region.
