The fish plate for two was amazing, and so big we couldn’t finish it. They didn’t have an English menu, but we managed in Portuguese. We stayed the night too, and the restaurant is about a 1 km detour from the signed Camino de Compostela. If you have time, go for a nice meal. I recommend it.

The setting is pleasant, and the Bacalhau à Costa Verde is very good. It could use a more modern look, though.

The bathroom was disgusting, with a clogged bathtub and mold, and the room itself smelled musty. The room was outdated, with just one bedside lamp, stuck in place with tape. The fan was noisy, and the heat was unbearable. There was no interest in the guest at either arrival or departure. We won’t be back or recommend it.

The beds are old, like the ones my grandparents had, and the comfort is poor. The shower water keeps changing, getting too hot and then cold. Breakfast doesn’t meet the customer’s needs.
