The walls let through plenty of noise. We heard the neighbors talking and laughing until three in the morning, then snoring afterward. Breakfast was very basic, with coffee reheated in a thermos jug. The rooms were clean and had baths, but the place is outmoded and far too expensive compared with other hotels nearby. The lighting was horrible, with strong searchlight like lights above the bed and another on the wall shining straight into our eyes. There was no fridge in the room. Horror.

Unless you’re desperate, I wouldn’t stay here. The bed sagged and felt too soft, the air conditioning didn’t work, several bulbs were out, and the shower head was broken. The hotel restaurant wasn’t open, and nobody helped us find somewhere else to eat. They spoke little English, but when we went out with our room key I found they spoke perfect French!
