I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the area was. The owners also ask guests to keep quiet between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m., which makes it possible to get some rest. The room is small but comfortable and clean, with a great bathroom and a well-kept, nicely decorated shower with good pressure. It’s enough space for a couple to spend a few days. You can walk everywhere pretty easily, though the main tourist spots and train station are 30-40 minutes away. There are restaurants nearby, along with bakeries that make their own pastries and supermarkets across from the accommodation.

Excellent value for money, and very convenient for public transport, with a bus stop just a few metres away. It’s a good spot for a few days in Porto. I’ve given the location three stars because it’s actually in Vila Nova de Gaia, about a half-hour walk from the river near the bridge.

Everything was clean, and the rooms are quiet. There’s a wardrobe to store your things, and the room was nicely furnished. The bed is great if you don’t like a very soft mattress; the bathroom is functional and nicely decorated. Check-in was easy since we’d arranged a time in advance, and we got a very friendly welcome. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and it’s about a 10-minute walk to the tram to Porto.

The walk to Charles I Bridge takes about 20 minutes, though there’s a metro stop close by. We found the price very reasonable, and the owner was friendly and attentive. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and everything felt new. The bathroom had plenty of space and was fully equipped, and we slept really well with no noise at all. Highly recommend this place.
