Waking up to the gardens and the central green area was lovely, and there was room to wander or hang out. The beds were reasonably comfortable, too. The hot tub temperature was just right and felt really soothing, though there was sand in it the first night, so it hadn’t been cleaned properly. The shower was the best I’ve had here, with strong water pressure and easy temperature control. There was no kettle or microwave, which are things people use every day on holiday. Staff weren’t especially cheerful or understanding about my special needs, except for Louisa. The bedroom shutter was faulty and broke twice, even after it had been fixed once.

The surrounding nature was nice, with cows nearby, and the staff were very friendly and clearly doing their best. Still, for the money I wouldn’t recommend staying long. Everything feels cramped, so it might be fine for a short visit, but it doesn’t seem worth the price. We stayed in the pool and jacuzzi house, which seemed to be the biggest one at the time, while construction was still going on. The place looks new and they’ve paid attention to details, and it was clean. But these are really mobile homes or trailers, not tiny houses, and the materials look cheap enough that I doubt they’ll hold up well over the next 1-2 years. The bed was only about 140cm wide, too small for two, and 190cm long, which is too short if you’re over 185cm. I gave it three stars because of the price for what you get.

I’m still upset about this experience, and it stayed with me for days. The place is lovely, but Flavia’s customer service and the way the staff handled things were unpleasant and unprofessional. I work for one of the largest hotel companies in the UK. We would never threaten to call the authorities because a guest stayed past checkout to use the garden or lounge, unless they were abusing staff verbally or physically. I went shopping for a power bank charger because your organization didn’t have one. I wanted to reassure my son, who has autism and was worried about spending all day away from the property without a fully charged phone or iPad. What you wrote is based on untrue facts. Flavia and the other staff seemed to have no idea how to support people with disabilities, especially when travel makes them very unsettled. Even when the paramedics arrived, things were chaotic. Your staff member larissa was shouting that we had to leave because she had work to do. It was a shocking reaction from several members of staff. I was disappointed. You should learn from this experience and review.

The house was peaceful and clean, and Valter and his mother helped us with everything we needed. It was an incredible stay, one I think everyone should try. We’ll definitely be back🌸🤍
