The hotel’s location is the one good thing about my stay. It’s very close to the metro and faces El Corte Inglês. When I arrived to ask about checking in, the young woman at reception was cold and rude, saying it was too early. I waited 30 minutes until check-in time, then was given a room with a broken door that took a lot of force to open. The room was also too hot from the sun, and there was no way to cool it down because they’d cut AC costs. I asked to switch rooms. A much kinder man helped, but the next room had such a strong smell that you could easily get a headache. I won’t come back.
