We couldn't find a way to lower the room temperature, so it felt warmer than expected, and the windows wouldn't open for fresh air. The rooms were clean, organized, comfortable, and fairly spacious, though they felt like standard hotel rooms. Breakfast had plenty of choices from 07:00 to 10:00 and was usually included. Parking is available privately for a small fee on request, or you can park on nearby streets. The hotel is close to the Douro river and the famous Luis I bridge. At checkout, a receptionist tried to charge us tourism tax, but another staff member pointed out that we'd already paid it. I'm not sure who's handling the reviews here, but it doesn't seem legit.

We stayed four nights in Gaia, about a 30-minute walk or a bus ride from the Louis Dom bridge and the city center. The hotel made a very good impression, from the luxurious lobby to our well-equipped room on the 16th floor. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff throughout the hotel were attentive, helpful, and polite. It was a memorable stay in a beautiful hotel and city, Porto.

The hotel is a little outside the city center, but that worked fine for me. My stay was amazing, with a very spacious room, good facilities, and a delicious breakfast. Thanks for the great service!

We had a lovely upper-floor room looking out toward the Douro river and the sea. The view was amazing, and breakfast was very good too. It's a bit far from the city center, but Uber made getting around convenient. Very good value, and I'd highly recommend it.
