We had to make more than a dozen calls before reaching anyone by phone, and that took two days. Maintenance was supposed to come the following day but never arrived. At check-in, we were also asked for extra cash, but the manager wouldn't provide a receipt. Our studio was dirty and had cheap, unsteady furniture, a broken cabinet, and a microwave without its turntable ring. The staircase felt dangerous, and one of the two broken lights was on it. The sofa was turned backwards, the dish towels were dirty, and there wasn't enough toilet paper.

It's very handy being literally 100 m from the mall. Nice place, though I found it too expensive.

The studio was safe, clean, new, well kept, and organized. It's next to Shopping Arrábida and homesplace, with easy access to porto, the center of Gaia, and Afurada de Baixo.
