We spent a week here and it felt magical. The owners were super friendly, and even though it's a little way from the center, it's a nice walk into town or an easy Uber or taxi ride. Our room was modern and clean, with well-kept facilities and a blissful view across the river. The pool and its beautiful scenery were a highlight. Breakfast had a thoughtful spread of yogurt, bread, and freshly made scrambled eggs, plus a different homemade cake each morning. I'd definitely recommend this little oasis in Porto.

We loved the food and the relaxing pool, and the hotel staff were kind. Breakfast was included, with eggs and bacon made to order. It's a peaceful place about a 15-minute walk from the bridge into Porto proper. We'd definitely return!

The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind after exploring Porto, and our room had an amazing view. The poolside was gorgeous, too. The hotel feels tucked away, like a retreat in the heart of the city. Our room was cozy and clean, the surroundings were quiet, and everything felt thoughtfully done. Staff were genuinely friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived. We stayed at The Lost Garden Hotel for two nights and honestly didn't want to leave.

The rooms, personal service, and delicious breakfast were all wonderful, and there was no crowding at the pool or sun beds. Perched on a hillside above the river and bridges, it has a countryside feel even though you're in one of Portugals largest cities. Porto centre is a 30-minute walk, or about a €5 Uber ride. A fantastic location, and I couldn't recommend it enough for a few days or even weeks in Porto.

The infinity pool and gardens were so relaxing, and you could see how much work had gone into the landscaping. Martha and her sister have made a wonderful little piece of heaven in the Porto hills. We visited the Lost Garden in early June and were certainly happy with our choice. The walk into town is lovely, and a short, inexpensive local taxi can take you home if you don't feel like walking. The beds were ultra comfortable, with bedding that felt really luxurious, certainly five-star quality.
