There's no lift, and the accommodation is on the third floor, so beware if you're carrying big luggage. The staff only speak Portuguese, but I think they can serve everyone. It's cheap and very well located, close to marques de pombal metro. Lisbon accommodation is very expensive, and this place works well for a short stay. It does the job.
The location is good, but the rooms aren't clean. It's on the 4th floor with no lift, and there's no AC or heater. The staff don't speak English and always seem kind of angry 😠!

It really depends which room you get. We've stayed twice, and the hotel's very affordable, which shows. Wi-Fi was excellent in one room and poor in another; bathrooms varied too. Some staff members were helpful, while others were grumpy. I recommend it only if you're not fussy and can adapt. Also, there are 70 steps to climb.
My wife and I were very disappointed with the room, staff, and place. We were only there for one night, and I won't return. At the building entrance, three garbage containers are the first thing you see, followed by four flights of stairs and no elevator. Staff spoke only Portuguese and shouted when we couldn't understand. Our room hadn't been cleaned, the bathroom outside it was filthy, and the balcony/terrace was completely rusted.
