Room 201 was the only studio with a river view when I stayed. It’s worth asking if it’s available. The property is close to both the riverside and the historic center, and check-in and service were excellent. The room itself is basic, but roomy and very clean. I did miss a decent coffee machine and a few shower accessories. The value is amazing, and I’d recommend it to couples or families traveling along Portugal’s west coast.

We were lucky to get room 201, with its lovely view. It’s not especially fancy, but it’s well equipped and very clean, and the price was reasonable. I’d happily recommend this place in such a cute little town.

The river, sea and lighthouse views were beautiful, and the location was great. Our room was spacious, especially with that huge terrace, table, chairs and sun loungers. The staff were very friendly, and reception is open from 9am to 9pm. We only parked underground once because the entrance is quite narrow by car, and there are enough spaces on the street. The kitchen could do with an update.

I only stayed one night while walking the route. The house was great, very clean and comfortable. I booked because it had a washing machine and kitchen, but there were no cleaning products. I understand guests need to buy things like dish and laundry detergent, but for a one-night stay they’d go to waste. It would be helpful to have single-use supplies for people staying briefly.

I absolutely loved this hotel. Room 201 has an amazing river view and all the necessary amenities, so ask for it if you can. Strongly recommend!
