Never again. I paid 110 euros per night for a very basic Guesthouse, out of season, and had thought I’d paid a week beforehand. When I said I was surprised because Google Maps showed it as a 3 star hotel, the owner threw me out.

It’s a shame we only stayed one night while traveling from Algarve to Lisbon. The place was quiet, very clean, nicely decorated, and well located. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade cakes and jams.

Our room was tiny, the bathroom sink kept leaking, and I didn’t feel we got our money’s worth. On our last day, our wallet was stolen from the room. We reported it to the owners and police. There’s no safe in the rooms. :( :(
