Our room on the second floor had a balcony and plenty of sunshine. It was nicely decorated, with great bedding and a small refrigerator. Breakfast was continental, with eggs and bacon available as a hot option. The street was quiet, yet restaurants and shops were only a short walk away. The staff were friendly, and both check-in and checkout were easy.

Guarda Rios is right in the town center, just 2 minutes from the sea, and has the kind of cozy feel that makes you feel at home. The hotel is beautiful and elegant, clean, and very nicely decorated. Staff were kind, and the homemade breakfast was fresh. Highly recommended.

Maria took care of us from the moment we reached the door until we said our final goodbyes. She’s a natural at hospitality. Our spacious, welcoming room had a balcony, and the home-cooked breakfast was a delight. A fantastic stay at a lovely boutique hotel close to everything.

The view from our balcony was spectacular, and the guesthouse is very close to the beach with a great view along the coast. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice. The owners are loving, warm people, and the place is full of lovely little details. There was fresh homemade cake every day, charming rooms and high-end bathrooms. The most charming guesthouse on the whole Algarve.
