My father and I booked this guesthouse for a good night's sleep on our road trip, and it turned into such a beautiful stay. The long driveway winds up to the house, where the owner greeted us with the warmth of someone we'd known for years. Our rooms were gorgeous, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The host was so attentive and made the stay extra special. I'd happily return time and time again. Five stars don't feel like enough, and I'd highly recommend it.

We loved the generous breakfast, with fresh croissants, sweet pastries, cereal, fruit, and more, in a breakfast room that gets the morning sun. Our room was beautiful, with a patio facing the landscaped garden and pool, and the spa shower in the bathroom was spectacular. Our friendly hosts made us feel very welcome. Casa do Prado is in a quiet neighborhood, but we found at least two good restaurants within walking distance.

There's lovely garden space around this luxurious accommodation, which is set in the owners' garden. The shared pool area has an outdoor dining spot as well as an indoor one.
