Really top notch.

For the price, you can’t expect too much, but here are a few notes for owners and future guests. In summer, bring a fan because the rooms get unbearably hot and there’s no air conditioning. Be ready to use the stairs, as there’s no elevator. Breakfast is tasty and served in the bakery on the ground floor, which is usually open to the public too. You can drive through the narrow streets to the hotel entrance to unload bags, then go look for parking. The location is right in the center, so parking isn’t easy, though spaces can be found nearby for €1.50 per two hours. Charges apply from 8 to 19 Monday to Friday, until 13 on Saturday, and Sunday is free. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, so check Google or TripAdvis0r for one that suits you. One suggestion is "Forneria" opposite Caixa Geral de Depósitos. The bed is a little small and uncomfortable, but all the rooms and shared areas are very clean and well kept. A charming, quiet place, a little faded in a way that suits the town, and very good value. Breakfast was delicious, especially the toast. The staff were friendly and helpful, though a bit slower than we’re used to in Spain. There’s no shampoo in the bathroom, but it’s available on a small tray by reception on the first floor, along with tourist brochures. We’d definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.
