Spent a couple of days here. It’s a vintage place, nice and quiet, just right for getting away from city life. The owners are very nice.

I booked an independent stay for two people, just a couple. During the same period, a group with children had made several separate bookings. Even though our reservation was completely separate from theirs, the owners made negative comments that unfairly linked us to that group. That was unjustified and unacceptable, since our booking was only for two people in independent accommodation. By taking this approach, the owners blamed us for behavior or circumstances that had nothing to do with us. It showed poor judgment in assessing the situation and treated us unfairly as guests.

We’ve chosen Quinta Alfaval for a few days of rest for the second year in a row. The location is good, near Bencatel and only a few kilometres from Redondo or Vila Viçosa. There’s plenty to keep the children entertained, and adults too. It’s peaceful and restful, yet still feels like being at home. The owners are so welcoming, in the way they share the quinta and make us feel at home in their Casa. Thank you, Nuno and Sandra. We’ll definitely be back!
