The resort is peaceful, modern and well looked after, and overall we had a great stay. I’d consider returning. The little issues are what keep it from five stars. The villas were lovely and clean, but for the price they could be better. I wouldn’t pay extra to upgrade to a suite, as it really isn’t worth it. The shower was poor, the beds weren’t very comfortable, and the walls were thin. In two of our villas, we could hear everything the pissed Scottish blokes next door said until 1am-2am. Service was hit and miss, sometimes painfully slow. The staff were super friendly, but there usually weren’t enough people at the bar, and most didn’t seem to have much urgency. At times you’d think they were on holiday themselves. That’s frustrating when a brandy and Coke costs over €20. Breakfast had lots of options but was pretty flavourless. I didn’t eat dinner, though I got pizza from the bar a couple of times and it was good. I heard the buffet had a great range each night, but we chose to eat out. The hotel is near absolutely nothing, so walking to a shop isn’t an option. Taxis are really cheap, though, and it’s only a 7-8 minute ride to the nearest one.

The golf courses are well kept and just a five minute walk from the hotel. They're fairly flat, so walking is manageable, though buggy hire at €55 each felt a bit pricey. Breakfast was nice and ran until 11, which suited a good lie-in. It was our first visit and we loved the hotel and its location. An Uber to Vilamoura Marina, with its bars and restaurants, was about €10.

Ruth gave an amazing massage, and the staff were attentive and very friendly throughout. We initially needed a double bed, and the room issue was sorted quickly. Some rooms could use an update, but ours was cleaned meticulously every day. It's a great hotel in a beautiful setting.

We came for a golf trip in October and were pleased with the resort's facilities and value. The course is made up of three separate nine-hole loops, with narrow fairways throughout, so it can be a tough round. There are tennis courts, pools and a sauna to use, and the Marina is a short taxi ride away.

There are three challenging nine-hole courses, plus tennis courts and a jogging route behind the complex. The rooms were clean, and the bar, restaurant, pool and spa services were all there, with friendly service. A great golf resort with what you need in one place. I'd recommend it for parties of any size.
