A lovely spot in a beautiful area, with a real farm feel in Portugal’s mountain countryside. We enjoyed staying here and visiting places nearby. The facilities are very good, and I’d recommend it to everyone.

For €60, I thought it was a great deal. The little houses are decorated with a lot of taste, and I personally really liked the place. There are cobwebs and bugs, sure, but that’s normal in the countryside. It’s also wonderful for dogs. They have a wood-burning stove, so I don’t quite get why it has to be switched off at a certain time, as some other reviews say.

We paid €60 for a room and there wasn’t even soap for guests. The heating is switched off overnight to save money, which was a real disappointment. We chose rural tourism hoping for a different kind of experience, but even breakfast wasn’t decent, there wasn’t even fresh bread. It’s far too poor to recommend, even at half the price.

It’s a cozy place and good for a rest, but the cleaning could be better. There were lots of bugs, which I know can happen in village houses, and plenty of spiderwebs, especially behind the beds. If you have children, that can be worrying. Otherwise, I have no complaints.
