The spacious bedrooms had a lovely view, and the room itself was clean and cozy. The staff were great, and breakfast was delicious, with lots to choose from: breads, croissants, fruit, eggs, jams, cereals, coffee, milk, orange and pineapple juice, and lemon water. You can see the highway nearby, but we couldn’t hear it. We never found the Wi-Fi password, which meant we had to switch off from work while we were there. The access road can be dangerous at night if you don’t pay attention. When we arrived after dark, the lights around the property were off because the automatic schedule hadn’t been updated for the earlier nightfall. It was a little scary in such an isolated spot, but not a safety issue for us: we stayed by reception, and the receptionist turned the lights on when showing us to our room.

The meal was a huge letdown, especially for what they charge. Dinner arrived more than an hour and a half after we ordered, and then they blamed us because our booking was for 20:30. The food was tasteless and undercooked, with risotto that felt like raw rice. The staff were possibly the rudest I’ve ever dealt with, and we kept feeling like an inconvenience. A really disappointing stay.

I was there for a wedding, not as a hotel guest, so I can’t speak to the stay itself. The venue felt magical, with some great spots for photos.

A lovely quiet place to unwind, with a really nice pool. The staff were helpful, and our room had a good bed and a nice view.

The food was lovely and the setting was very nice. A bit overpriced, but all in all, not too shabby. Thumbs up from me 👍
