The location is fantastic, near both the sea and the bread shop. The accommodation itself wasn’t as good: the bathroom was tiny and smelled bad. The top bunk on the two-level bed had no safety rail, so it didn’t feel safe for children.

The noisy construction next door is why this gets four stars from me. On our last two days, the neighbors were doing work, and on the day we’d planned to relax after a trip to Sagres the day before, a drill woke us at 8:30. They kept at it all day, then did more work the following day for a shorter time. The drilling was loud in both the bedroom and living room, so there wasn’t really anywhere in the house to get away from it. Several streets in Zambujeira were also closed for construction, making this street particularly busy. Otherwise, the house is very well located near the beach and the most famous bakery in Zambujeira, and it has all the amenities, including 5G Wi-Fi. The bedroom is very large, with a comfortable double bed and wooden wardrobe. The living room has a sofa bed for two, plus a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom is a good middle size.

A lovely, quiet house with everything needed for four people, and very clean. The beach is excellent and within walking distance. The village is peaceful, though it does have a central area for restaurants and shops.
