We had booked one night at this hotel but had to cancel because one of our dogs has cancer, now diagnosed as terminal. Treatment has cost us over 3.000€ and is still ongoing. Our other dog also injured themselves and needed expensive surgery costing 1.800€. Both dogs now need many medications each day and home care for several weeks to months. We explained all this to the property, but their response was that we understood the no-refund policy, so they would not offer any refund. Nice!

It was very quiet, with a small farm, animals and a little lake on the grounds. The staff were welcoming and nice. Our room was good, with a pool view and its own small outdoor area with a hammock and a table and chairs.

A lovely place for children too. The rooms are simple, but very clean and comfortable, and the staff are the nicest you’ll find. It’s about 20 minutes from both Zambujeira do Mar and Vila Nova de Milfontes, a great base for a quiet, relaxing break on Portugal’s southwest coast. Beautiful beaches are just minutes away. If you’d rather stay in, you can enjoy the pool or the small lake with paddle boats.

There are several wild beaches nearby, and the place itself is surrounded by nice views, animals and nature. With the pool and lake, you can spend quality time without going anywhere. It’s a great, really quiet place.

Really nice rooms, a big pool, good service and a lovely breakfast. Perfect stay.
