Palau Royal Resort

We had a peaceful stay here, with a lovely pool and dock for relaxing, snorkeling, or setting off on island adventures. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and our room was spacious, clean, and well cared for, with a great ocean view. The beachfront setting is beautiful, especially at sunset, and getting into the water is easy. Staff were friendly and professional throughout, and happy to help with tours or places to eat. It feels luxurious without being crowded. One of the best places to stay in Palau, and I’d happily come back.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with lots of variety and Asian dishes we enjoyed trying. We also loved unwinding at the Breeze bar and spending time on the private beach. We arrived on Christmas Eve and were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade. It was spacious, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful, and we had a great time at Palau Royal Resort. We’d definitely return.

The resort looks much nicer in person than it does in the Agoda and Booking photos, and the beach is a pleasant place to spend the day with a cocktail. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I’d stay here again. It’s right by the water, which is handy for diving. I’d recommend Fish n Fins, and Marlin is right on the property. There are good restaurants within walking distance, though the resort’s own menu is limited, which seems to be more of a Palau-wide issue. I had a massage that was okay, and expensive, but not wildly so since I chose a special.

We had such a wonderful holiday in Palau. Thanks to everyone who looked after us. What stood out most was how friendly the staff were in every part of the hotel, from the beach and restaurant to the gym, shops, and housekeeping. A special thank you to Carlos. Hope we get to see you all again!
