We had to RUN out of there, it was absolutely awful. The room felt like an old family room, with a dusty unit full of family memorabilia. The beds, bedding, and pillows weren’t fit for a dog, and there were roaches everywhere. It was so disgusting and completely unfit for purpose. We’ve stayed in lots of hostels while traveling around South America and aren’t fussy people. We had prepaid, but they refused to refund us. This is a rip-off and shouldn’t be advertised on any platform. We think the earlier reviews are fake.

My colleagues and I stayed a few weeks ago, and we’d definitely pick this place again. The hosts are very friendly, and the service was great. It’s close to everything too. Highly recommended, 10/10!

Don Carlos was very attentive to what guests need and made a great host. The accommodation has what you’d expect for its category, plus an outdoor area, swimming pool, and barbecue area.

We had a very comfortable stay, with breakfast and air conditioning, and the host is a lovely person. We were also shown around the destinations in Asunción. Remember to pay in Guaranis. The exchange at the bus station using pix is expensive, so it’s better to convert Brazilian real notes into guarani.
