About ten lights shine over the inner courtyard all night, for around 12 hours, making it as bright as day. There are no switches to turn them off, and that feels like a waste of energy and my money. Even in Paraguai, motion sensors are available if the goal is to keep guests feeling safe. My room has no curtains, so the light comes in and it wasn't dark enough for me to sleep well. That's too much wasted energy and money.

The young people working there were so friendly and helpful. We booked a suite and ended up with an apartment that had a barbecue on the balcony. My husband was already talking about moving in and grilling there! It's close to downtown, with a good market nearby, and the value for money is a big plus. We already want to come back.
