For the price, this is the best hotel around. The staff are fantastic and breakfast is good. The gym and games room are a little worn out, though the waterfront is only a ten-minute walk away, so you don't really need either.

The breakfast felt disrespectful to guests and was a real disappointment. The bread was stale, they served margarine instead of butter, and the fruit was old. It looked like it had been reheated from earlier days. The bread seemed no better than something picked up at the supermarket next door. This is a long way from what Arthur Hotel used to be.

There's a currency exchange, supermarket, restaurant, casino, and pretty much anything else you might need nearby. The hotel itself is excellent for the price, with roomy rooms, a desk and chair for working, quiet air conditioning and fridge, a good TV with Paraguayan, Argentinian, and Brazilian channels, and a full bathroom.

I loved the whole experience, from the recreation area and rooms to breakfast. Such a great hotel 😍

The service has been poor lately, and both the internet and breakfast have been disappointing. It's a real shame, since this used to be a very good hotel.
