My boyfriend stayed here, though I didn’t. He was fairly satisfied and had stayed in worse hotels. The room was clean but quite bare, with no wardrobe or coat hooks. He couldn’t find a refrigerator or desk either, which you’d expect at that price. Breakfast was very basic. The pool was small, but fine for swimming. It’s okay for a few days or a weekend, though I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay.

The facilities leave a lot to be desired, even though the service was good and the cook was kind. The building is old and neglected, with maintenance needed, and we had no water. Breakfast was very poor. Despite the low price, the stay ended up feeling expensive. This hotel needs serious investment before it can be acceptable. I won’t be back.

It may be one of the better options for price and comfort during peak summer season in the capital. The atmosphere is calm and safe, the service is warm, and the amenities and family-friendly setting make for a comfortable stay. The location and service more than make up for the fact that it’s not the right place if you’re after luxury or the latest technology.

I stayed four nights with my son and received very good service. The building is showing wear, and it’s a long way from the main attractions, though you can walk there. The receptionists were excellent and very willing to help.

We were warmly welcomed. The place is simple but well located. It seemed like my friend and I were the only guests that weekday. Breakfast was basic but filled us up, and the chef gave us lots of attention. They did what they could to make us comfortable despite the simplicity. Our room was clean and tidy, and our one-night stay was very peaceful.
