The views are really nice, and the breakfast room looks out over the Paraguayan river bank. The terrace wraps around the whole house, so the superior room only has a door opening onto it. It isn't a private room terrace, and next time I'd book a regular room and have breakfast outside with the Paraná river views. The building may have been a country club house before it became a hotel. A few things need attention: the air conditioning is too old and doesn't work, and the building needs disinfestation, as there were cockroaches (see attached). At 9am the butter and marmalade were already gone, there was no toaster, and there wasn't much fruit. It's in a private district with private vigilance, so bring your IDs or passports whenever you go in or out.

The location is perfect, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our rooms were clean and breakfast was great, but the place is badly worn and needs major renovation. We got an "upgrade" to a bigger room because the air conditioning in the original room didn't work. The shower was just a pipe attached to an old tap, switching between cold and too hot, and the beds were old and creaky. At this price, the bathrooms and beds at least need an upgrade.

Lovely location, but the place felt unattended. The bathroom smelled bad, and the air conditioner was noisy.
