Al Mourouj Inn Hotel(المروج ان)

My room on the top floor looked out over the blue ocean and the Qatar National Museum, and the views were the best part of staying at Al Mourouj Inn Hotel. I could enjoy coffee on the terrace in the morning and catch beautiful sunsets from there. The hotel was peaceful and quiet, a nice place to unwind after exploring nearby. The setting also made walks easy. The museum is about 50 meters away, and the water's edge is roughly 150 meters away, so I could stroll along the waterfront and take in the sea air and scenery. The room was comfortable, too. For a calm stay in Qatar with cultural sights and coastline close by, I'd recommend it, especially a top-floor room.

I'm trying to find another hotel so I can leave as soon as possible. There was construction work nearby around the clock, which made the stay disturbing. The hotel has no parking, and there was no sound insulation in the doors or windows. Housekeeping service was bad, with too few staff. There was only one person on shift. Cockroaches were scattered everywhere, and proper pest control is needed. I'm giving it zero stars.

There were insects everywhere, the water was dirty, and prices weren't stable. The entrance was dirty, too, and maintenance work while guests were there meant a lot of noise. This is a new situation, it used to be better. They started upgrading the place, but went about it the wrong way.

My online booking had already been confirmed, and I even arrived with a printed copy, but the receptionist couldn't find it. They seemed to have no idea how to handle online reservations. The hotel was full, and all I was told was to go somewhere else. It was 3 a.m. and I was left stranded in Doha. The receptionist wasn't friendly either. A total scam and completely unprofessional. Strongly avoid.
