Horizon Manor

Horizon Manor Hotel turned a very stressful start to my trip into a wonderful stay. I arrived in Doha alone on January 2 this year, a solo female European traveler, after discovering that Ramada, just around the corner, had closed in August 2025. I’d booked there months earlier, but nobody had told me it was closed. The five men at reception said they couldn’t take anyone in and only offered their lobby and WiFi while I tried to arrange somewhere else. I was crying and dragging my bag through the city, hoping another hotel would take me at short notice. The door staff at Horizon Manor Hotel brought me to the manager and said they’d help find me somewhere if they couldn’t keep me. Luckily, they had one last room. They were wonderful from the start and made the rest of my trip amazing. To the man on the door that night, thank you for helping when you saw how distressed I was, and for asking after me the next day when I returned from my first day around Doha. Thank you also to the manager for sorting things out so quickly and offering help right away. I left them a box of chocolates as thanks. The room was fabulous, breakfast was beautiful every morning with a lovely view over the city, and I felt completely safe the whole time. The staff were kind and helpful, and the hospitality was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend the hotel. Five stars.

Even with the hotel almost full during the holiday season, Ms. Hajer and Mr. Salam gave us excellent care and remained highly professional. Ms. Hajer greeted me and my family warmly, while Mr. Salam handled check-in efficiently and helped with our additional requests. His offer of complimentary breakfast during our stay was much appreciated. We had a very pleasant experience and I’d recommend the hotel to friends and family.

The hotel was relaxing and conveniently located, with top-notch facilities. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were warm and friendly. The service made me feel welcome. I had an amazing stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended.

We stayed from November 30 to December 19, and the panoramic view was outstanding, worth five stars on its own. Our room was spacious, very clean, and well maintained thanks to the housekeeping team. The two receptionists, Mr. Salam and Ms. Hajar, made a great first impression at check-in and were professional, courteous, and available throughout. They answered our questions clearly and gave us helpful guidance during the stay. We also thank their manager for leading such a well trained, professional team. We highly recommend this hotel.
