Le Méridien City Center, Doha

The staff's warmth and constant smiles made a real difference during my stay at Le Meridien City Center Doha. Everything ran smoothly, and I found the stay comfortable and well organized. Credit to the management and leadership team for keeping the service and hospitality at such a high level. A fantastic hotel, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Doha.

The room was cozy, even if it wasn't very big, and we liked the outdoor pool best. There's also an indoor pool. Breakfast was okay, though the buffet didn't have many choices. We had a booking problem on our first visit, but Mr. Ahmed Ali Muhhamed, the Assist Manager, sorted it out. He was accommodating and handled the pressure really well. The first night's dinner was great, with lots of food, and my family enjoyed it. On night two, though, the à la carte menu had changed, leaving just one option: salad for the appetizer, chicken for the main course, and carrot cake for dessert. My children were disappointed because they'd expected salmon, pasta, and pizza, none of which were offered. A big thank you to Mr. Maher, Sir Jay, and the other restaurant staff for the good food and for being so accommodating.

We were in town for a five-day business trip. The room was good, with a nice sea view, and breakfast had plenty of options. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. It's also a good location, with some malls about a five-minute walk away.

The service and housekeeping were really good, and the beds were big and comfortable. I stayed for two weeks in a club room and got upgraded to a junior suite. The outdoor pool is nice, and you can order food and drinks there. The club lounge wasn't that great, though I hardly used it. This hotel earned its five stars, and I'd recommend it for a business trip or a vacation in Doha.
