The building is pretty and historical, but using its facilities means going elsewhere. Breakfast is served in another place, and the pool and gym are elsewhere too. Even the sauna is in another location and limited to 15 minutes. Having to leave the hotel for all of that isn't practical. Our bathroom drain was clogged and flooded the room. I asked twice to have it fixed. The lights were difficult to use, and although someone came to deal with them, the problem wasn't resolved. You pay a lot and don't get everything you paid for.

The room was spacious, clean, and ready for us, and the staff were efficient, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant had delicious food with a range of cuisines, and the price was affordable. Booking directly with the hotel included a 75 Qatari riyal spa voucher and 20% off all hotel restaurants at any time. The distances between the hotels, restaurants, and facilities weren't a problem: they offer golf cart rides, and everything is accessible on foot too. Thanks to Ahmad and the whole team for their warm welcome. Every request was handled with a smile, and I had a really enjoyable stay. I'll definitely return.

The food looked nice, but tasted ordinary, and the soup arrived almost cold. The restaurant table itself was clean. For what we experienced, the price didn't feel right, so I wouldn't recommend it based on my visit. Service was poorly organized, with staff nearly fighting in front of customers. Our order took a long time, and each staff member blamed someone else for the delay.

Room service was hard to reach and slow to respond, and the shuttle delays kept adding to an already frustrating stay. My family and I had to travel about 10 minutes to Al Jassra for breakfast, then wait more than 15 minutes for the shuttle. When we got there, we were told breakfast wasn't included. I went back to Al Merqab Hotel, where they confirmed it was part of the booking, apologized for the miscommunication, and said the system wasn't working. I had booked rooms online and expected them to be ready when I arrived at Najd Hotel for the 3 PM check-in. Only two showed in the system, so I waited until 5 PM for the rest. Check-in itself was at Al Merqab Hotel across from Najd Hotel, which made things less straightforward. A few staff members, including a manager, did try to help and apologized after noticing how upset I was. By then, though, the long waits and poor coordination had already affected the stay. I wouldn't recommend these hotels based on this experience.
